The United States is located between Canada and Mexico. The United States was founded in 1492 by a man named Christopher Columbus on an accident.He was looking for a new route to Asia. The United States will play on June 5,2002.They hope to make an lasting impression this time.
 History
        When the United States began they were not United. The states were split up and were paying taxes to the British government for Great Britain's war debts. They were taxing the U.S and the U.S had motto saying "No Taxation Without Reprensentation".Once G.B began to do this a war began  called the Revolutionary WarThe U.S won.In 1776 the United States declared independence from G.B.In 1781 the British was defeated at Yorktown.Just six years later the Constitution was written which holds the U.S together up unto this day.The founders of the U.S were men like George Washington the first president, Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin.The U.S is a democracy were the people has power.
