Current Event javea is one
of two costa towns that have decided to start a neighborhood watch
to precent crime in their town. They feel that thee has been to much
crime in there city and plann on this working to settle down some of the
crimelolad. They plan to do this by installing camears so people will be
more catious on weather or not they do certain things because of the threat
of being caught by the camera and going to jail.
I think that this is a great system that
will work for them and help them to loose some of this crime affectiveness.
also people will be better off going to different towns that dont
have cameras to commit crimes because it would be a lot easier if there
were no cameras. In conclusion i feel this is a safe decision for
this town and might hurt them at the begining with the cost of the security
system but it the long run will be affective on the lowering of the
crime factor.
Recently, Ghana played the World Cup squad from Slovenia in a friendly, losing 2-0 to the Slovenes, who are in the World Cup finals in Group B. The Ghanaian national team is currently coached by Jabir Malik, but will soon be coached by Milan Zivadinovic. Zivadinovic is excited about taking over the team in its preparation for the 2006 World Cup. Zivadinovic is a man amidst controversy the last few years. Interestingly, he has worked most of his coaching career in Yugoslavia, from which Slovenia gained its independence in 1991. He was recently named coach of a club team in Serbia and Montenegro, but two months later, he signed on with the team from Ghana for 9000 euros ($8310) per month plus win bonuses. He has also coached the Iran and Saudia Arabia's national teams for short spells. (source: uefa.com )
