    Japan is in Asia. Japan is in the east. It is also made up of 4 islands.
History

    The oldest written histories is A.D.712.  Divine brother and sister who gave birth to the Japanese island and to a materasu,the sun goddess.  From A.D.200's Japan was controlled by arring clons [related families] . Most clans live on kyushu. 660b.c. According to legend, Jimmv tenno became japans frist emperor. In1192 yoritomo became the frist shogun.
    1904-1905 japan,s defeat of russia in the russo-japanese wa established he country as a world power. 1931 Japan seized the Chines prorince of manchuria.  1941Japan attacked Unied states based at pearlHarbor in Hawaii.  1945 The United states dropped atomic bombs on hiroshina and nagasak Japan surrendered to the allies and the allied occupation of Japan begain.  1951 Japan signed a generl peace treaty and a security treaty with the United states.
    Japan siged  the treaty of mutual cooperation and security with the United states.  A great warrior named Hideyoshi controlled Japan from 1598. He planned to build an empire that included China.
