Rules of Hockey
Elbowing; any player who uses his elbow or knee to foul an opponent.
Holding an opponent; any player who holds an opponent with his hands or stick or in any other way
Hooking; any player who impedes or seeks to impede the progress of and opponent by "hooking" with his stick
Interference; who interferes with or impedes the progress of an opponent who is not in possession of the puck.
Slashing; any player who impedes or seeks to impede the progress of an opponent by "slashing" with his stick
Tripping; player who shall place his stick, knee, foot, arm, hand, or elbow in such a manner that it shall cause his opponent to trip or fall
Charging and checking from behind; any player who runs, jumps into, or charges an opponent
Charging or checking; any player who "cross-check" an opponent
Boarding; any player who bodychecks, cross-checks, elbows, charges, or trips an opponent in such manner that causes the opponent to be thrown violently into the boards.
