Rules of cricket
The team that bats first is decided by the toss of a coin.
Behind the wicket, or three wooden stumps, at the bowlers end is where one umpire stands
The other is between the two wickets
Bowlers bowl the ball underhand or overhand, without bending their arms
Batsmen may hit the ball in any direction, after hitting can elect to run to the opposite cease.
If both runners reach the opposite creases before either of them is put out, a run is scored
A player can be bowled out or be caught out, if the ball is caught before it reaches the ground.
