Definitions to explain:

Did you know that in South Africa a rape is happening every thirty seconds. South Africa ranks as the number one rape country in the world. Most of this is hard to understand, but is happening but mainly, the reason is the country believes having sex with a virgin will get rid, and the cure of aids. Though some  rapes are not reported it may be as high as one million rapes. Mostly that get raped are women both black and white and are often attacked in opened fields while no one is around, at train stations, and also by friends or in public places, and gatherings. Some people that do the rapes are mostly apart of mass gang rapes or are a ritual to join the gang. Though some is being done to  help relieve this problem not every one is aware of this massive  problem.

During Apartheid their were people who rich and others became very low. A country of 628,000 there  were 50,000 annual murders and road-death victim. Some of the people among the force of good have become villains, thieves, or corrupt officials who were undermine. There was a man  Alan Roberts who was of "color" and did not like whites until the year of 1975, he was beaten by police for  leading a strike after joining the ANC. A man named Brett said "I hope that the next generation would grow up from Apartheid." The year of today is 2001, and to us it looks like he dark Shadow that was over South Africa is still there.  Now today in South Africa there is a rape every 30 seconds, and they are mostly over racial issues.  There are racial battles every day these and the people of South Africa are the same today as they were back in the 1970's. There are lots and lots of drunks, junkies, and other problems.  One of the biggest problems that South Africa has today, is that there are HIV problems.  The people there believe that if you have HIV and you sleep with a virgin, you will be cured, in which the US knows that it is not true.  So until South Africa starts to turn things around and build a better government, the people there will be nothing as well as there government.
